I made a Marine a shadow of a man the moment my shutter snapped closed, the click echoed through the empty hallway of the abandoned school, his M4 in hand and the M9 strapped to his thigh evaporated into black, until all that remained were soft edges wrapped around a silhouette standing out of place.
